A Message From Your Candle Maker!

Hey, Thanks for stopping by. Let me introduce myself! I am Nissa the owner and candle maker of Modern Roots Candle Co.

In 2022, I desired to create a business and a product that glorified God and shares His Good News, as well as, encourages others to share their faith in Jesus. Therefore, I merged my faith with something my husband and I truly love and enjoy, and that is candles. 

With the wisdom of Colossians 2:6-7, to stay rooted in our faith in Him, the name of Modern Roots was created. However I didn’t want to create any candle, I wanted it to be natural and non-toxic but affordable. After a ton of research, I set out to develop a collection of candles free of paraffin, phthalates, and carcinogens.
